Beansprouts employs graduating high school students and college students, as well as working professionals – teachers, coaches, and specialists in art, music and more. Our team looks forward to the start of summer camp each year.

Beansprouts fosters a nurturing and safe environment for children by hiring talented and outgoing staff members who are well-trained and devoted to making their campers’ summer extraordinary. Our staff members’ enthusiasm and expertise in a range of sports, arts, and other talents make them exceptional leaders who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and contributing to the culture at Beansprouts Day Camp.
Summer Jobs:
Lower Camp Counselors work with preschoolers. Counselors are required to work one of the following two sessions: June 20th - August 18th, or July 5th to August 18th.
Position Overview:
Provide a fun experience and positive energy to campers
Engage and support children in play-based activities
Provide leadership and guidance to campers and ensure an overall positive camp experience
Lead and assist small group activities
Work collaboratively with other team members and serve as a role model to campers
Assist the Camp Director and leadership team in managing a specific group of campers
To be considered for the 2024 summer team, you must:
have previous experience working with children with an established program
be enthusiastic, energetic and flexible
have respect for children
be able to work one of the following three camp sessions: June 20th - August 18th, June 26th - August 25th, or July 3rd to August 25th.
be available to work the full camp day (8am - 4pm) or after camp hours (3pm - 6pm)
be willing to undergo a background check
Possess a H.S. diploma. College students are welcome to apply.

Phone Interview - If your skills and experience match one of our job openings, a member of our team will schedule a phone call to discuss the role.
“In-person” Interview - Zoom call or an in-person interview (if the situation allows) with our program director.
Background Check Process: All counselors must submit the following prior to their start date: 1. A physician record of physical examination with immunizations, 2. Three references, 3. Proof of graduation or enrollment in school.
