Introducing the first summer of Beansprouts’ Leader-In-Training Program! Beansprouts L.I.T Program provides a hands-on opportunity for children to develop leadership skills, practice problem-solving, and participate in a number of engaging and tailored activities. Our approach ensures that L.I.Ts not only enhance their leadership skills but also enjoy an enriching and memorable summer, making lasting connections and experiences.
About The LIT Program
2 Week Session: August 11th - August 22nd
Age Group: Entering 7th Grade (2013 Births)
Time: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Tuition: $1,200
LITs will meet as a group in the mornings for training, group games, project planning, and tailored activities. In the afternoons, they will assist instructors, lead activities, and help campers in their camp group placement. LITs will participate in weekly trips to various locations with their placement groups. Examples of possible trips include Urban Air, Luna Park, Brooklyn Ninja Academy, and more. They will also serve a pivotal role in our Annual Olympics and go on a LIT Group Trip.
Steps to Become a Leader in Training (LIT)
Parent Step: Start by having a parent submit an LIT application through CampMinder.
Future LIT Step: Complete the short questionnaire to tell us why you're interested in joining our program this summer!
Meet & Greet: We'll schedule a quick call or visit with our program director and you, our Future LIT, to talk about the program, expectations, and some of the exciting things we have planned for camp.
